Oort Cloud
A huge spherical region at the very edge of the Solar System that is the source of the long-period comets. Long-period comets take over 200 years to complete a full orbit of the sun. It is thought that gravitational forces from other stars dislodge objects in the Oort Cloud to make them enter the Solar System on a path that takes them around the Sun where they are captured in orbit.
