Deep Space
The Solar System is a very small proportion of the Universe, in fact it's fairly insignificant in the scheme of things.
Beyond the edge of our home system lies wonders unknown: huge clusters of galaxies each containing millions upon millions of star systems and other objects; black holes; quasars; fantastic gas clouds that take on all sorts of shapes and colours; and maybe even more life out there just waiting to be contacted. Who knows what else there may be?
This gigantic expanse that encompasses everything beyond our immediate vicinity is known to us as Deep Space. It is vast and probably goes on far further than we will ever be able to perceive. Travelling at the speed of light it would take us years to get to our nearest neighbor, to go further would take lifetimes.
We can only take a glimpse at what is there.............
